Pallenberg was one of the most famous German tech bloggers. He founded the Mobilegeeks blog and made it to the list of the most influential mobile computing journalists, “Top 20 Smart Mobile Device Pundits”, from 2010–2013. In 2015, he received the “Golden Blogger” award and was honoured as Blogger of the Year. On 1 January 2017, he moved to corporate communications at Daimler AG.
